Your tan typically lasts 7–10 days, depending on your skin type and aftercare. Because of our sweat resistant formulas, most of our clients can get their tan to last 10-14 days with our aftercare product line.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

• Exfoliate 12-24 hours before. No loofah or body scrubs… only an exfoliating glove.
  
• Avoid lotions, oils, deodorant, and perfume the day of your tan
  

Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment

We’ll guide you based on your solution, but most rinses happen between 2–12 hours. With our rapid formulas you can expect to leave your tan on for: 

2 hours- light 

4 hours- medium 

6 hours- dark 

8 hours- ultra dark

8-12 hours for our standard overnight solution (best for late night appointments)

Yes of course! We highly recommend a trial. Bridal tans are one of our specialties, and we’ll perfect your shade ahead of your big day.

Avoid sweating or getting wet until after your first rinse to ensure the best results.

• Moisturize daily with our Hive After Tan Moisturizer
  
• Avoid long hot showers/hot tubs/saunas but if needed apply our hydrate spray or moisturizer on before you do these things
  
• Pat skin dry (don’t rub) when getting out of the shower
  
• Avoid any exfoliants/retinols/ etc

For best results, book your tan 2-4 days before your event. This allows the color to fully develop and settle into a natural, flawless glow.
